14 Days Beach and Bush

A tour from Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Victoria Lukuba Island , crossing the border to Serengeti, and Ngorongoro ending the safari in Zanzibar Island for a Beach Vacation.

The tour will take you in wildlife rich game parks in East Africa, tour Lake Victoria's Lukuba Island, before heading to the spices Islands of Zanzibar for a beach holiday.

Day 1 : Arrival Nairobi

Upon your arrival you will be met and pick from the airport and transferred to a Nairobi Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 2 : Lake Nakuru National Park

On this day you will be picked early in the morning and set out towards Lake Nakuru National park arriving in good time for lunch. Later on after a well deserved rest you will go out for enjoyable afternoon game drives.
Dinner and overnight stay at our campsite or lodge in Nakuru

Day 3, 4 and 5 : Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

You will depart from Nakuru early in the morning , driving through the Great Rift Valley to the world renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and later on head out for afternoon game drives allowing excellent opportunities for viewing the Mara wildlife, picnic lunch, nature walks, photography sessions, bird-watching, and sun-downers.

Optionally, you can opt to visit local Maasai villages at $25 per person or hot air balloon ride at a cost of $425. And if you just make this safari at the most opportune time around June to early August you may catch the most dramatic annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. Added to the treacherous crossing of the crocodile infested river.

Day 6 -7: Masai Mara - Musoma ( lukuba Island)

After an early morning breakfast , depart from Masai Mara crossing over the Kenyan Tanzania border. You will then be transferred by boat to Lukuba Island in Lake Victoria. After a late lunch you have the option of relaxing ,fishing, hiking on the sunset rocks.

The next day you can enjoy a variety of activities such as, Kayaking on the lake, Fishing with our traditional boat ( $40/hour), escorted nature walks, sun-downer hike to the sunset rocks, birdwatching, swimming, picnic lunch.
Dinner and overnight stay at Lukuba lodge.

Day 8 & 9 : Lukuba -Serengeti national park

Today you will board a boat ride to the shore of Lake Victoria for a journey to the vast Serengeti National Park through via Dabaka gate. Arrive in good time for lunch before heading out for evening game drives.

The following day you will enjoy full day morning and afternoon game drives to explore the plains. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Public campsite in Serengeti

Day 10 : Serengeti - Ngorongoro crater

Depart from Serengeti National Park to the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area whilst you watch wild animals en-route. You arrive in good time for lunch and late on an enjoyable afternoon crater tour.
Dinner and overnight stay at a campsite.

Day 11- 12 & 13: Ngorongoro - Zanzibar

r On this day you will transferred from Ngorongoro Crater to Kilimanjaro airport to catch a charted flight to Zanzibar Island. On arrival you will be transferred to the Fumba Beach Lodge on the south west coast of Zanzibar, arriving in the afternoon. The rooms are very comfortable and the cuisine is excellent.

The next 2 days will be spent on the beach hotel sun bathing, visit to the Stone town, snorkeling, diving, deep sea diving, picnic lunch, dolphins watching in Menai Bay, swimming, massages in the spa, cultural visits, as well as excursions to Old Stone Town and a spice tour.

Day 14: Zanzibar- Nairobi

Transfer to the airport to catch your Nairobi bound flight connecting with your home bound flight.
